One row per batch. Save this one, then log the next — add as many batches and different products as you need for the same day.
The whole factory’s attendance for the day, entered once (also on the Attendance tab). Labour cost is shared across the day’s batches by output; at month end it is replaced by the actual salary sheet.
Review batches, cost, and output across any date range or a single product.
Each factory on its own, and both together. Uses the date, product and company filters above.

Operators and loadmen present each day at each factory. Required before batches can be saved; at month end the salary sheets are shared out by this attendance.
Loadman and operator salary sheets come from the EMR Tracker Expenses tab, separately for each factory. For a finished month they replace the daily-wage estimate: each factory’s wages are spread over its days by attendance, then over that day’s batches by output. Staff salaries are common and are shared by each factory’s production.
Opening stock plus what was produced, minus what was dispatched, gives the closing stock. All quantities on this page are in Metric Tonnes (MT).
Leave as “Regular stock/dispatch” for ordinary sales. Pick a job work company to track that company’s own opening, production and dispatch separately — batches logged for that company fill in Produced automatically; enter Dispatched here to carry into that company’s next opening balance.
Optional. The stock physically counted before the day’s loading and production. It becomes the day’s opening, and that day’s dispatches and production move it as usual. The difference from Batch Book’s figure shows as an adjustment, which shrinks by itself as older dispatches are entered.
Finished products moved from one factory to the other come off the sending factory’s stock and onto the receiving factory’s, so the consolidated total doesn’t change. Raw materials and other items are kept as a note.

Set up contract companies & their fixed job-work rates here, then log the actual batch from the Log Batch tab — just pick “Job work for” there. Profit or loss below updates automatically from that batch’s own logged cost.

Link each product to a Log Batch product (add it under Settings first if it doesn’t exist yet) — that’s what lets the Log Batch tab recognise it and calculate profit/loss automatically.

Fallback processing cost is only used when no monthly budget is set up under Processing cost.

A fixed processing cost per batch for one product. It replaces the monthly rate for that product only.
A flat labour cost per batch for one product, instead of operator / loadman wages.
A labour rate per MT for a job-work company. It applies to every batch made for that company.
Each finished month is costed per factory: that factory’s actual bills ÷ its actual output. Bills come from the EMR Tracker’s Expenses tab, and batches re-cost automatically.
Use this for a head that isn’t logged in the tracker, e.g. fuel or stitching. A typed figure overrides the tracker bills for that month and head.
Used for the current month while it is running, and for any cost head with no actual bill in a past month.
Monthly output isn’t typed in — it’s taken from the batches at every month end. This month’s batches use last month’s actual rate (actual processing cost ÷ actual output) for each factory, and are re-costed at this month’s own actual rate once it ends.
Team members only see Log Batch & Stock. Leave a box blank to keep that password.
Give each job work company its own password. When they log in with it they see only the Stock tab, showing only their own stock (opening, produced, dispatched, closing) — no batches, costs, rates, other companies or Settings, and they can’t change anything.
